The World Series of Poker will launch a new bracelet series in the Bahamas. The WSOP Paradise begins on December 3, 2023 at the swanky Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas resort, and 15 bracelets are up for grabs. This inaugural series in the Bahamas concludes on December 14.
15 Bracelet Events in Atlantis
The WSOP expands its global brand into the Caribbean at a familiar destination for poker players. The Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas had been the home of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure every January, so the venue is well versed in hosting a poker tournament series. This newly minted WSOP Paradise coincides with the 25th anniversary of the opening of Atlantis.
“Atlantis’ 25th anniversary launches a new chapter for the resort, unveiling a multimillion-dollar transformation of the Atlantis Casino complemented by renovated guestrooms at The Royal and Michelin star chef dining experiences in time for the WSOP Paradise event,” said Joe Brunini, Chief Gaming and Customer Development Officer Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas. “We are excited to welcome the WSOP Paradise this winter and look forward to hosting the debut of this premiere tournament series for players and their fans.”
The 2023 WSOP Paradise will consist of 15 bracelet events with $50 million in guaranteed prize pools.
The WSOP Paradise Main Event has a $5,000 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool worth $15 million.
There’s a special $1,500 buy-in Mystery Bounty event on the schedule that has a $5 million guarantee.
The WSOP Paradise hopes to attract high rollers with five specific events. The highest-buy in includes the $100,000 High Roller that has a $5 million guaranteed prize pool. The $50,000 High Roller has a $2 million guarantee. There’s also a pair of Pot-Limit Omaha high rollers with at least $1 million in guarantees.

Buy-in Event Features $10 Million Prize Pool
One of the more popular events at the WSOP Paradise will be the $25,000 buy-in GGMillion$ tournament. It has a whopping $10 million guaranteed prize pool.
“The summer was an unprecedented success, but the vision is equally as ambitious for WSOP Paradise,” said Ty Stewart, the Executive Director of the WSOP. “We have the strongest online partner in the world, and they are set to send a record number of qualifiers to a live tournament. Atlantis also has a great legacy in poker, and we believe this combination of partners can deliver poker’s most powerful new franchise for years to come. Many players say summer in Vegas is the best time of year. We hope that will only be rivaled by winter in paradise.”
WSOP Paradise Satellites on GGPoker
GGPoker sent 774 players to the record-setting 2023 WSOP Main Event via online satellites. This year’s WSOP Main Event attracted a new record with 10,043 runners, and American pro Daniel Weinman was the last player standing when he banked $12.1 million.
GGPoker will be running online satellites for the inaugural WSOP Paradise. They estimated they will send no less than 1,000 qualifiers to the WSOP Paradise.
“GGPoker is delighted to launch WSOP Paradise and welcome hundreds of players from all over the world to Atlantis Paradise Island this December,” said pro Daniel Negreanu and GGPoker Global Ambassador. “It’s going to be an absolutely amazing experience, the best of poker at one of the world’s most luxurious resorts!”
The WSOP will officially announce a complete schedule of events and specific dates shortly. In the meantime, they wanted poker players to clear their calendars for the first-ever WSOP Paradise which will run December 3-14 at Atlantis.
Meanwhile, the 2023 WSOP Europe takes place at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic starting in mid-October. There will be 15 bracelet events on the docket for the 2023 WSOP Europe. “RozVegas” has become the home of the WSOP Europe. It has become a pivotal location for big poker action on that side of the world.
