The NFL enters Week 13 with the playoff picture coming clearer into focus. There are several teams, however, that are on either side of the bubble and need to win to keep their chances alive.
One of those teams is the Buffalo Bills. They have been in a freefall as of late. The team that was the favorite to win the AFC East, is now fighting to just get in the postseason. Atlanta, NY Jets Scour Field for Points
An Atlanta Falcons offense quarterbacked by Desmond Ridder will have a hard time generating many points. Especially against the stout New York Jets defense.
The Falcons have gone just 2-11 on the road since the start of last season. Scoring won’t be any easier for a Jets offense helmed by Tim Boyle, who has a career 4:11 TD:INT ratio.

Denver Looks for Sixth Straight Win
The Denver Broncos have won five straight games. The surging Broncos should keep this one within a field goal against the Houston Texans. Rookie quarterback C.J.Stroud has been outstanding for the Texans and has topped 300 passing yards in four consecutive games, but Houston has struggled to run the ball, which will make it tough to sustain drives against a Denver defense that is allowing just 16 points per game during its winning streak.

Miami Needs to Score Points on Road
The Miami Dolphins are averaging just 24.2 points on the road compared to 38.8 at home. The Washington Commanders’ defense will likely put forth a spirited effort in the first game since the firing of defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio. On the other side of the ball, the Dolphins are giving up an average of just 16 points in four games since star cornerback Jalen Ramsey recovered from a knee injury.

Saints Pull Off Upset of Lions
The Detroit Lions have looked shaky lately, beating the Chargers and Bears by a combined eight points before losing at home to the Packers on Thanksgiving.
The Lions have allowed an average of 31 points over that three-game span, and if Detroit’s defense continues to struggle, the offense will be hard pressed to put up enough points to win on the road against a New Orleans Saints team that’s holding opponents to just 20.2 points per game this season.

Panthers Rebound After Firing Coach
Perhaps the 1-10 Carolina Panthers will be invigorated by the firing of head coach Frank Reich. After all, the team’s only win this season came the week Reich gave up play calling duties on offense.
With starting Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield battling an ankle, this clash between NFC South rivals could come down to the wire.
